Near our villas, there are countless hiking trails, Minoan paths, and the famous Sarakina Gorge. On your hikes, you will be accompanied by the scents of Crete: thyme, oregano, and pine. Cistus flowers bloom in all colors along the roadside.
Just a five-minute drive from our hotel is the seaside village of Myrtos, where you can experience firsthand the hospitality of the locals. It is situated just off the beach it lends its name to. There you can find a supermarket, a small shop with local fruits and vegetables, a bakery, and a butcher’s. Its many local taverns offer delicious traditional dishes at affordable prices. Its many cafes offer a lovely view of the sea which only serves to complement the tasty local treats. You could also have your coffee delivered directly to the sun loungers on the beach.
For those who prefer a quieter place, they can find their spot under the shade of the tamarisk trees.
For the more adventurous visitor, our hotel is the perfect starting point for day trips and excursions. We are surrounded by many picturesque villages, perfect to hike or drive to.

One of our beloved day trips is to the pristine island of Chrisi by way of Ierapetra.
Ierapetra, only ten minutes away by car, itself is worth a visit as it offers a plethora of historical sites following the island’s deep history from antiquity to modern day.
